25 Claude skills worth installing

25 free skills that teach Claude a specific job, from writing and design to sales and memory, with where to get each one.

Skills are add-ons that teach Claude a specific job: a workflow, a set of rules, or expert know-how. Once a skill is installed, Claude uses it on its own whenever it's relevant. They work on every Claude plan, free included (Anthropic's help page).

How to install

In the Claude app (web or desktop): Turn on code execution in Settings, then Capabilities, then "Code execution and file creation". Download the skill from GitHub as a ZIP file. Then go to Customize, then Skills, click +, and upload it. Skills 1 to 6 are Anthropic's own and are already there: switch them on in Customize, then Skills.

In Claude Code: Paste the GitHub link and type: Install this skill: [link]. The bigger skill packs only work this way.

Start here: official skills from Anthropic

9. Caveman (by Julius Brussee)

Makes Claude answer in short, compressed language without losing accuracy. It's useful if you keep hitting your usage limits.

Design and visuals

10. Impeccable (by Paul Bakaus)

Tell it what feels wrong with a page, like "too crowded" or "hard to read," and it critiques and fixes the design while keeping your brand. It works for people who aren't designers.
